Se me movió el piso, which translates to "the floor moved," is an exploration of space and liminality. A canvas painted like a classic black and white tiled floor travels around Panama and is placed directly onto the landscape of different places throughout the country.

 

This work was created at a period of rooting and personal reconnection with the Panamanian territory.
